During an expatriation to Thailand in Bangkok between 2012 and 2015, I had the good fortune to meet Catherine and Teck, a Franco-Thai couple who had just created and launched a totally new artistic activity of painting on lotus leaves, this plant so symbolic of Asia.

As I’ve always been interested in art and painting, with a background as a chemist, I seized the opportunity to export this magnificent activity between 2015 and 2018 to Singapore, where for 3 years I offered workshops to expatriates.

Now I live in Bailly and I’m extremely happy to introduce you to this very playful, meditative activity, which results in works that are always splendid, full of color and roundness.

For me, painting is much more than just an artistic activity; it has profound effects on our mental and emotional well-being.
